GC: Despite the curved roads all the buildings look very American in their style of architecture, completely unlike anything you’d see in the UK. I don’t want to seem like I’m encouraging downloadable content but are there going to be any expansions to create cities with a more European look?
BB: We don’t currently have anything like that planned. Now, actually on SimCity.com you can buy the additional pack that’s already out there – the deluxe version of the game – that already has specific city packs [British, French and German according to the website – GC].
GC: Okay, and how do they work exactly?
BB: Well, you can put down a landmark and it’ll change the graphical tone of the buildings around you, so it’ll look more like say, London or Berlin or Paris. It doesn’t change your whole city to look like Paris but it basically affects the buildings around it once you place down one of these landmarks.
JH: I mean this is just a sampling of what’s going to be in the game eventually, we’re still early in development.
