EA Access, het abonnement voor games van EA op de consoles, is al een tijdje beschikbaar op de Xbox One en gaat in juli eindelijk ook naar de PlayStation 4 komen, zo maakte EA vandaag bekend in een persbericht.
Net als bij Origin Access, de tegenhanger op de pc, krijg je bij EA Access voor 4 euro per maand of 25 euro per jaar toegang tot alle games uit de Vault. De Sims 4 zit er bijvoorbeeld ook in net zoals het game pack Uit Eten en het accessoirespakket Kinderkamer Accessoires. Tevens krijg je 10 procent korting op al je EA aankopen in de PlayStation Store en verschijnen er geregeld proefversies van nieuwe games die je gratis 10 uur lang kunt uitproberen.
EA Expands Its Subscription Service to PlayStation®4
REDWOOD CITY, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Today, Electronic Arts Inc. announced that it is bringing EA Access* to the PlayStation®4 (PS4™) system. Starting this July, players can sign-up for a monthly subscription (MSRP** $4.99), or an annual subscription (MSRP** $29.99) through PlayStation® Store. With the addition of the PlayStation 4 console to the already existing membership services on Xbox One and PC via Origin™, EA now offers its subscription services on more platforms than any other publisher.

Membership in EA Access lets players experience Play First Trials, where they can play up to 10 hours of most new EA games. Subscribers also enjoy a 10% discount on full game purchases, expansions, in-game items and more. Additionally, players can jump into a growing library of EA games, including the best of EA with franchises like Battlefield™, EA SPORTS™ FIFA, Star Wars™ Battlefront™ and more.
