There will, however, be a few features that are platform specific. Xbox 360 and PS3 players can look forward to unlocking achievements by solving mysteries around town, while PC players can take their pets on play dates or to meet other Sims at the dog park, cat jungles or horse ranch. The Xbox 360 version of the game will allow players to control their Sims and pets using voice commands with the Kinect, a first for The Sims history.
3DS owners will be able to use the built-in pedometer to collect Play Coins and earn Karma Points. You’ll also be able to gift or trade your Sims pets with your 3DS friends using StreetPass. Most importantly, you’ll be able to have up to three controllable Sims, which can all be pets if you choose.
