De officiële Nederlandse De Sims 3 site is online. Ook andere internationale Amerikaanse De Sims 3 sites komen 1 voor 1 online en het lijkt erop dat alles nu werkt.
Q: Anyway, I’ve heard that switching households is difficult and complicated, that people lose track of the sims they’re not currently controlling, and that they autonomously alter their own inventories… will personal items and valuables I put in my sims inventories really dissappear when I don’t play that household?
A: There is an Edit Town mode where you do all things like Build Buy on community lots etc. Switching households is a button on the UI. When you switch households your old Sim Family becomes NPCs in Sunset Valley so they are influenced by the Story Progression of the town. Your old family will grow old and have a career etc. Their inventory might change.

Zelf heb ik de Sims 3 Prima Official Game Guide gisteren besteld en wanneer die binnen komt weet ik niet maar MTCason heeft hem al en heeft op Snooty Sims er een uitgebreid topic over gemaakt.

De officiële Nederlandse De Sims 2 site heeft een artikel online gezet over het De Sims 3 Sneak Preview / Fan Fest van 15 Mei. Je vindt er links naar de verslagen op verschillende fansite en veel foto’s van het event.
De Sims 3 Fan Fest reportage: Door de fans – voor de fans
Op 15 mei kregen de Fansites van de Benelux, samen met enkele gelukkige prijswinnaars vanuit de De Sims Community de unieke mogelijkheid aanwezig te zijn bij het De Sims 3 Fan Fest. Ook aanwezig was producer MJ Chun die speciaal voor het evenement is overgevlogen vanuit De Sims 3 studio om alle De Sims 3 vragen te beantwoorden.
Nadat MJ de community alvast een voorproefje had gegeven van de op release te downloaden buurt Riverview was het tijd voor de fans om De Sims 3 aan een goede speeltest te onderwerpen. ’s Middags werden de fans nog verrast met een leuke goodiebag en is deze dag voor altijd vastgelegd met een groepsfoto. Daarna was het tijd voor de fans om aan de slag te gaan met het creëeren van eigen Sims, kavels of families. Dit materiaal zal vanaf de release van De Sims 3 te downloaden zijn op de gloednieuwe De Sims 3 community. Ook deze community hebben de fans al even mogen zien en werd razend goed ontvangen!
