TSR’s Workshop nu compatibel met Wereldavonturen én geupdate

The Sims Resource heeft een nieuwe versie van de Custom Content tool Workshop online gezet. Je vindt alle informatie op deze pagina van The Sims Resource.

TSR Workshop Release Candidate 1 launched

We are very happy to release our first Release Candidate for TSR Workshop. Many hours and lots of work has gone into this version (thank you Micke!) to make sure it has most, if not all, features you would want from our all-in-one package. The biggest new features is the support for morph states and the automatic generation of shadows.

And of course this new version is compatible with EA’s latest patch and Expansion Pack and also only produce completely safe .sims3pack content.

Make sure you also update our Milkshape plugins when you download this new verson.

Sims 3 Wereldavonturen: het zit wel goed met je downloads?

Snooty Sims heeft ook een recensie exemplaar gekregen van Wereldavonturen en het eerste wat hij gedaan heeft is kijken of alle downloads nog werken. Het lijkt erop dat de Custom Content van fansites, dus ook onze S3N Downloads, blijft werken maar dat vele mods niet meer werken.

World Adventures and mods
After installing World Adventures, I first checked if custom content was still working. Objects, skins and clothes all still seem to be working. Mods however is a different story. For example my buyable Life Fruit stopped working as well as several others. Censorpatch still works though, but it’s clear that a lot of mods will need to be updated.

We zullen proberen het zelf ook nog even te controleren als een aantal leden van het S3N team vanmiddag samen Wereldavonturen gaan spelen. Zelf ga ik morgen, voor de zekerheid, al mijn downloads uit het spel halen en een backup maken. Dinsdag komt er namelijk een grote patch voor Sims 3 (zie dit bericht op onze site) en met de vorige patch had ik wat problemen door de resource.cfg.

The Sims Resource lanceert de TSR Launcher (Beta)

The Sims Resource heeft een nieuwe tool online gezet: de TSR Launcher (nog in Beta) waarmee je snel Sims3pack files kunt installeren zonder de Sims 3 Launcher te gebruiken. Nu alleen nog voor de PC, later komt de tool ook voor de Mac.

We are happy to announce a new tool to help you organize and install Sims 3 downloads. This tool is specifically targeted at Sims3pack files only and will soon be available for Macs as well. For our subscribers you can look forward to on-site installations and download basket returning for Sims 3 based on this tool, stay tuned!
