De Sims 3 Levensweg review van El33tonline

If you are a Sims fan this expansion will surely be of great appeal and I can recommend it for all the little, nearly imperceptible changes. Everyone else should wait for the Sims 3 Complete Collection Chest and install it all at once.

The good: The fun is all in the details; hilarious pranks.
The bad: So subtly and well implemented that is goes by unnoticed.
The ugly: I never threw eggs at people as a teenager, especially my own parents!

Gamespot geeft De Sims 3 Levensweg een 6,5

Generations adds entertaining moments to a franchise that turns routine duties, like taking showers and tossing salads, into compelling delights, but these new moments are too infrequent and unexceptional to justify the high price tag.

The Good
A bunch of new mechanics and items for sims of all ages
Imaginary friends and childrens’ costumes are adorable
Pulling pranks and using the video camera are fun.

The Bad
Doesn’t have much impact on the overall experience
Proms and other features are missed opportunities
Overpriced for what you get.

Gamesradar geeft De Sims 3 Levensweg een 6

It’s not like Generations makes any bad additions or changes. Everything in this package is something you can at least appreciate existing, even if it doesn’t appeal to your gameplay style. But what’s there doesn’t always feel like enough to justify this full price of an expansion pack, especially when so much has been added in past products. Unless you’re desperate to add a little life to your sims’ youth, you might be able to pass on this one.

SN review: The Sims 3 Outdoor Living Stuff

This morning we published our (very late) review of The Sims 3 Outdoor Living Stuff in Dutch and now the English version is available too.

The nicest part of this package is the romantic garden set. This set is truly complete with all the trimmings, a complete garden and kitchen set with fridge, BBQ, including a barbecue tool. The atmosphere in your garden will become romantic and cozy. The super large television, that is also in the package, you can put in- and outside. It will allso look great in your interior!

SN Review: De Sims 3 Buitenleven accessoires

PROS: Greater depth of gameplay for Child and Teen Sims; new Day Care profession is fun; integrated well into the existing experience rather than feeling like a new game.

CONS: Not as flashy or as obvious an improvement as previous expansion packs; could be argued that this pack’s content should have been included in the main game, especially for the price.

| Gamepro: Review: The Sims 3: Generations (PC) |

Generation is definitely a worthy expansion of the awesomely addictive Sims Empire. It gives more depth to the kid and teen Sims who previously didn’t have many options and were therefore boring parts of the game. EA is definitely moving in the right direction and with their release of Sims Pets in October, we Sim lovers will no longer need a reason to ever leave our houses again.
