Elk seizoen in De Sims 3 Jaargetijden heeft zijn eigen festival en voor de herfst is dat Spokendag. Op de Amerikaanse De Sims 3 site is er een nieuw blog over Spokendag online gezet met 7 nieuwe screens.

De vertaling van EA Benelux zal er wel snel komen: tot dan een link naar de Amerikaanse versie.

While playing in the fall season it will be tough not to notice the visual transformation of your once familiar town. The weather will begin to cool down and rain and fog will often blanket the skies. Red, orange, and yellow becomes a more dominant color in town as deciduous trees begin their transformation for the colder climate. This dark and eerie feel really sets the stage for Spooky Day.

Broadcast van De Sims 3 Jaargetijden en De Sims 3 70’s, 80’s en 90’s Accessoires

Op donderdag 8 November zal er weer een broadcast chat verschijnen. Dit keer zal de broadcast gaan over De Sims 3 Jaargetijden en het nieuwe accessoirespakket De Sims 3 70’s, 80’s en 90’s Accessoires. De producers zullen een demo laten zien van het spel en je kunt natuurlijk ook weer vragen stellen aan de producers.

De chat zal beginnen om 19:00 uur ’s avonds op donderdag 8 November, dus schrijf het alvast in je agenda! De link zelf geeft nog een error, maar de broadcast zal daar wel verschijnen.

SimGuruGraham beantwoord vragen over De Sims 3 Jaargetijden

Op het officiële Amerikaanse Sims 3 forum heeft SimGuruGraham weer een stel vragen beantwoord over De Sims 3 Jaargetijden.

Het zijn bijna 40 vragen & antwoorden maar ik geloof niet dat er iets ‘nieuws’ tussen staat dat niet al langer bekend is. Maar voor iedereen die niet elke dag het nieuws over De Sims 3 Jaargetijden volgt is het wel de moeite waard om even door te lezen.

1. Do you have to purchase both Supernatural and Seasons at the exact same time in order to have access to the Weather Stone?

2. Will aliens be available in CAS in The Sims 3 Seasons?
You can’t create an alien in CAS, but you will be able to do things like changing their clothes or their hairstyle once you add an alien to your household.

3. Will there be new potions in The Sims 3 Seasons if we have The Sims 3 Supernatural?
There aren’t any new potions as Seasons really focuses on weather, festivals, and brand new holidays. However, players with Supernatural will be able to have their characters interact with the Weather Stone to alter the weather in unique ways.

Gisteravond heeft SimGuruGraham het officiële The Sims 3 Twitter account overgenomen om flink wat vragen over De Sims 3 Jaargetijden te beantwoorden.

♦ There are some new open windows that come with #TS3Seasons; they can’t be closed, but they’re perfect for summer.

♦ When aliens abduct a male Sim, there will be a chance of them returning “pregnant”. Watch out for those alien experiments!

♦ Sims do have an internal body temperature; they’ll let you know if they’re too hot or cold through their moodlets.

♦ Each season is one week long by default, and you’ll see all sorts of weather like thunderstorms, blizzards, hail, fog, and more!

♦ All sorts of new food, from pulled pork sandwiches in the summer, to eggnog in the winter. You can even bake pumpkin pie!
