De Sims 4 op de PlayStation 4 en Xbox One heeft zojuist een nieuwe update gekregen. De update focust zich op het oplossing van een aantal bugs en brengt verder een aantal gewilde features naar de console zoals meer opslagsloten en de mogelijkheid de achtergrond in het hoofdmenu aan te passen. Zie de patch opmerkingen hieronder voor alles wat er is veranderd in deze update.

Hello Simmers!

‘Tis the Seasons to be jolly, almost! As we approach the end of the year, we looked at some of the more requested features from console Simmers to bring to this update. As well as feature requests, we focused on stability improvements and prepare your Sims for one of the most requested packs. Let’s jump in to what’s new.

What’s New?

• The Main Menu is important – you can start a new game, resume an existing game, see what packs you have, check the control scheme and… that’s about it. Turns out that you wanted to do more, so how about switching which pack background you see? While on the Main Menu simply press Left or Right on the Right Stick to cycle through the backgrounds from The Sims 4 game and some of the packs you have installed. Best thing, your preferred background will be there the next time you return to the Main Menu.
• To Save or not to Save? That is the question! For some Simmers, 5 saves was not enough so we have bumped that up to a 10 save capacity plus your Autosave.

Zoals al aangekondigd heeft De Sims 4 op de PlayStation 4 en Xbox One vandaag een nieuwe update gekregen die onder andere weer een aantal nieuwe features uit de afgelopen pc patches naar de console brengt. Zo is de Caribische update van afgelopen maand nu bijvoorbeeld beschikbaar evenals glazen daken en de update voor tuinieren uit de Jaargetijden-update. Over Jaargetijden gesproken: het icoontje is samen met De Sims 4 Griezelige Accessoires met de update ook toegevoegd aan de lijst van filters in bouwen en Creëer-een-Sim, dus je weet wat dat betekent!

Verder brengt het verbeterde support voor de PlayStation 4 Pro en Xbox One X. Zo is de textuurkwaliteit verhoogd en is de framerate op de Xbox One X verdubbeld tot 60 fps, hetzelfde als waar de PlayStation 4 Pro al op zat.

Hello Simmers!

Wow, what a summer we have had in The Sims 4 with the release of two fan favorite packs, Cats & Dogs and Laundry Day and great feedback for the Community creations in My Library. We are keeping that sunshine-boosted momentum going with this new update.

Talking of sunshine, we cast an eye to the Caribbean and its vibrant, colorful clothing and styles. With Carnival taking place throughout the region, we took inspiration from the traditional patterns to craft some hip, modern clothing for your Sims to wear to a party, or perhaps the last picnic of the summer.

This new update adds several often requested and cool new features, some of which are exclusive to console, so let’s jump in to what’s new.

Zoals maandag al duidelijk werd zou er vandaag een nieuwe update uit gaan komen voor De Sims 4. Hoewel de precieze inhoud nog een verrassing was, is zojuist met het uitkomen van de update duidelijk geworden is de update gericht op de Caribisch. Zo zijn er verschillende kleurrijke kledingstukken, zomerse haarstijlen, nieuw behang, een ventilator voor aan het plafond en zelfs schuifduren. Over een klein uurtje zal de update verder worden toegelicht tijdens de speciale livestream die je hier kunt bekijken.

Hey Simmers!

Summer will be over soon, but that doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate the warm weather with some free content for the community. The Sims community is truly global, which means we have so many fun stories to tell with events like Diwali, Day of the Dead, and more. Through our Sims’ clothing, furniture, food, and activities, we are trying to celebrate the diversity within our community.

With summer in full swing, we shifted our gaze towards the sunny Caribbean and its vibrant, colorful clothing and styles. With Carnival taking place throughout the region, we took inspiration from the traditional patterns to craft some hip, modern clothing for your Sims to wear to a party, or perhaps the last picnic of the summer.

In this pack you’ll find three new hairs, two of which have beautiful curls & textures! There are also numerous new clothing assets, some makeup, and even a little furniture. We should mention that it includes a ceiling fan and sliding door…
