Aangezien De Sims 4 Jungle Avonturen volgende week dinsdag uit gaat komen, is er vandaag al een update uitgebracht voor het basisspel van De Sims 4. Nieuw voor iedereen is een draagbaar bedje voor peuters en wat nieuwe bonuskaraktereigenschappen. Wat er verder allemaal veranderd is, kun je in de patch opmerkingen hieronder nalezen.

It’s almost time to pack the bags, grab the bug spray, and journey to the temples in search of adventure! In the meantime, we’ve used a bit of the bug spray ourselves to squash a few…

So… what’s new?

There is a new toddler bed, The Littlest Big Bed, now available for all in the catalog. And, for the adventurous Simmer, you can place this bed into your inventory, allowing you to be ready to put your toddler to sleep at a moment’s notice.

We’ve also added some new traits and powered an old one.

• Never Weary has been improved. It now actually provides the full benefit of the word “never”.
• Seldom Sleepy is a new trait for Sims that like to sleep, but just don’t want to sleep that often.
• Needs No One, Forever Fresh, and Forever Full, are all new and improved versions of their counterparts (Independent, Antiseptic, and Hardly Hungry).

De Sims 4 heeft zojuist weer een nieuwe update gekregen. Aangezien de oorspronkelijke De Sims afgelopen zondag precies achttien jaar geleden uitkwam, wordt dat in De Sims 4 nu gevierd met een speciaal verjaardagsshirt. Verder brengt de update ook tien nieuwe huidskleuren om uit te kiezen en krijgen de vrouwen er een nieuwe haarstijl bij. Er zijn ook een paar bugs opgelost ditmaal, maar niet heel veel. Daar kun je hieronder in de patch opmerkingen meer over lezen mocht je dat willen.

Happy 18th Anniversary Simmers!

18 years? We’re all adulty and mature now. Wonder if our grey is showing yet? If it is, I’m going back in to Create-a-Sim for some edits.

In the meantime, however, let’s raise our juice in a toast to you, the fans! Thank you for being here with us for these 18 years… and if you were here from the start, I’m sorry for the mass amount of death by kitchen fire! But hopefully you’ve learned it’s better to make garden salads for a couple hours before trying to make mac n’ cheese (shakes fist at that demon-firestarter mac n’ cheese).

With that, we have just a few new things for you to enjoy in your game…

What’s New?

A new female hair (yes, your males can wear the hair too). The Create-a-Sim artists went all out on this one, I’m loving it! (for specifics, the asset name is yf and ymHair_EF10MedCurl).

A new Anniversary T-shirt for men and women! You can find it in Create-a-Sim under… T-shirts.

And 10 new skin tones along the cool and warm undertones to broaden the range of Sim possibilities.

…and we’ve fixed a handful of issues.

Aangezien De Sims 4 Wasgoed Accessoires volgende week uitkomt, is er vandaag een update voor het basisspel van De Sims 4 uitgebracht. Die update bereidt het spel voornamelijk alvast voor op de komst van het nieuwe accessoirespakket. Verder zijn er geen nieuwe dingen ditmaal, enkel wat bugs die zijn opgelost. In de patch opmerkingen hieronder kun je daar meer over lezen.

Happy New Year!

I always feel a little wrung out after a long holiday break. Like I was just hanging around, tossed on the pile of things left undone, and I need a vacation from my vacation, just to freshen up, clean the lint from my eyes. Maybe put a little spin in my step, to help keep me from tumbling about. But let’s not sort through these feelings now. Just fold those up for another time. We have a new pack around the corner, and among the things on our laundry list…

…we cleaned up some stuff!

General Issues

• The Computer Hard Drive career reward will now give a focused décor buff when enabling its emotional aura.
• The Pile of Discarded Food that results when a toddler throws their food on the ground after eating will no longer be called “Debug”, but instead will be called a “Pile of Discarded Food” when selected in Build Mode.
• The Tell Funny Story to Toddler whim is now successfully fulfillable.
  • They get it now.
• You will now be given enough time to take care of your neglected baby after the warning “you neglected your baby” notification appears.
• Earbuds and Holiday Crackers are no longer available to purchase from a computer while the power is out.
• We fixed the coloring of the yfHair_EF06PonytailStraightBangs_DirtyBlonde asset to match other dirty blonde hairs.

What do you call a solar powered clothes dryer? A clothesline.
