Gisteravond meldden wij al dat er veranderingen zitten aan te komen in de ‘De Sims 3′ Facebook pagina’s zoals Sims Social en Middeleeuwen, maar nu is er ook een verklaring gegeven waarom deze Facebook pagina’s allemaal naar één pagina gaan.

SimGuruTatorTot plaatst als volgt op het Amerikaanse forum dit:

It’s spring cleaning time on Facebook and The Sims Community team will be merging our product pages to provide you a one-stop destination for all things related to The Sims. Whether it’s news about The Sims 3, The Sims 3 Store, The Sims Medieval, The Sims Social, The Sims 4 or general team updates, you will be able to find it all in one place under The Sims Facebook page.

We know some of you may have received an email from Facebook this week about renaming The Sims 3, The Sims Social and The Sims Medieval pages. This was an effort on our part to give you a heads up about the communications merge before it takes place.

There is no action to take. In the coming weeks, Facebook will merge The Sims 3, The Sims Social and The Sims Medieval pages to become The Sims Facebook page. We will follow-up with more details as soon as this merge takes place.

Also, later this year, our Twitter account will be taking a similar approach where @TheSims3 will become @TheSims. We’ll definitely keep you updated as to when this happens but for now you’ll still find our handle as @TheSims3 on Twitter.

Lastly, our spring cleaning efforts have also led us to find some really awesome swag that we want to give out as a thank you for being amazing fans. We’ll be running random giveaways across the Forums and Twitter over the next few weeks so be sure to stay tuned on when those will be taking place.

Kort samengevat: Er komt één generale pagina voor De Sims, hier in wordt je geupdate over Middeleeuwen, Sims Social, De Sims 3 en zelfs De Sims 4. Verdere details hierover komen nog. Twitter wordt later dit jaar ook opgeruimd en wordt één globale account, wederom weer met dezelfde reden.

Toen ik las over de wereld bundel dat deze ook fysiek verkrijgbaar was, moest ik hem natuurlijk bestellen. Als een klein kind bleef ik wachten tot de postbode dit voorwerp kwam bezorgen en vanmiddag was het dan eindelijk zo ver! Het plastic scheurde ik er af en besloot enkele foto’s voor jullie te maken zodat jullie kunnen zien wat er bij het fysieke exemplaar van De Sims 3 Wereld bundel zit. Bij de fysieke wereld bundel krijg je natuurlijk het doosje waar de twee werelden in zitten, deze werelden staan op CD en worden ook zo geïnstalleerd op je PC (Daarna heb je de CD’s eigenlijk niet meer nodig), daarnaast zitten er nog enkele reclame blaadjes bij en het boekje waar je twee codes op staan voor de werelden en natuurlijk ook nog de code voor je chocolade fontein (Deze staat achter op bij: het spel starten).

Mocht je de wereldbundel nu al willen hebben in plaats van 6 juni, bestel hem dan via Origin dan heb je hem binnen enkele dagen binnen!

Leuke tips zijn altijd welkom voor ons geliefde spel De Sims 3. Patricilonia heeft een leuk overzicht geplaatst met allerlei kleur paletten zodat je het huis van je Sim nog mooier kunt inkleuren!

Zoals jullie allemaal weten heb je vele mogelijkheden in De Sims 3. Je kan van allerlei spullen, kleding, muren, auto’s etc. de kleur kiezen. Persoonlijk heb ik meestal moeite met kleurencombinaties. Welke kleuren passen goed bij elkaar? Vloekt het? Of kom ik, na een middag lang werken aan een kamer, erachter de het er afschuwelijk uitziet qua kleuren, printen e.d.

Over the past few blog posts I’ve discussed the brazen, fire-breathing Red Baby Dragon and more recently the earth based Green Baby Dragon and its love for all things shiny or harvestable. Today I want to write about what is arguably the most unique of the dragons, a dragon that thrives on joy, humour and happiness. A dragon that is so dang cheery it literally pukes sparkles and rainbows.

This is the Purple Baby Dragon:

While Green Baby Dragons may have them beat in the tree hugging department, Purple Baby Dragons are the hipster-est of hippies in the Baby Dragon community. They want nothing more than to see everyone around them having a good time. In fact even the grumpiest of Sims can get a steady dose of Fun and Social just by hanging out with a Purple Dragon thanks to the Mark of the Purple Dragon moodlet.

Deze week zijn er totaal 27 voorwerpen in de uitverkoop waaronder vier complete sets. Bespaar nu je kan, want de kortingen kunnen hoog oplopen! Last week I introduced you to the Red Baby Dragons of Dragon Valley. They are impulsive, brash and focused on the physical. They are aligned with the element of fire and will happily help you smite your enemies in a Fiery Torment.
But not all baby dragons in Dragon Valley are as brazen or hotheaded. Some are deep thinkers with an inherent understanding of this land, and the untold riches it can bring forth. They understand that a job is a way of amassing wealth and there are few things that they love more than gathering treasure. They are Green Baby Dragons.
