Deze email kregen we net binnen van EA Benelux over de problemen met de nieuwe PC en MAC patches voor De Sims 3.

Helaas is er geen vertaling beschikbaar, hopelijk komt deze er wel snel. We proberen jullie zo goed als mogelijk is op de hoogte te houden. Ik weet hoe vervelend de mensen van EA Benelux dit allemaal vinden en ook zij doen hun best.

Er zijn enkele problemen met het patchen van De Sims 3 Levensweg, wij zullen een afgeleide van de onderstaande sticky op onze websites plaatsen. Er wordt op dit moment gewerkt aan een permanente oplossing.

We are aware of the issues with the update to The Sims 3 launcher, and we’re working towards a permanent fix as quickly as possible.

For PC

In the interim: you can download the standalone base game update and this may resolve the issue for some players. klik hier

Custom content and unsupported mods may also be preventing the game from patching. Uninstall and delete all third-party mods and unsupported content. After deleting all third-party content, you must manually uninstall The Sims 3 to completely get rid of the extra content.

For MAC:

For anyone who has been witnessing this issue on a MAC, please download the respective patches below.

After you download the patch, double-click and extract the file. The patch will ask you where you want the patch to be applied and you’ll need to point it to the base game Sims 3 app file.

Note: Installing third-party software changes actual files in The Sims 3. Deleting the unsupported content will not erase the modifications to the game that the software installed.

Gisterenavond is er een nieuwe patch online gekomen voor De Sims 3, zie ook dit bericht op onze site. Inmiddels heeft EA laten weten dat er achter de schermen hard gewerkt wordt aan een oplossing, maar voor nu is het niet zeker wanneer die oplossing er komt.

We weten dat de nieuwe patch niet bij iedereen problemen geeft, maar voorzover wij kunnen lezen, alleen al op onze eigen site, hebben toch wel erg veel Simmers problemen.

We houden jullie zo goed als mogelijk is op de hoogte: meer dan dat kunnen wij ook niet doen.

Het probleem daarbij is wel dat het Sims Team vaak niet verder komt dan het Amerikaanse De Sims 3 forum met hun communicatie. We hopen dus dat ook EA Benelux ons op 1 of andere manier op de hoogte kan houden.
