De Sims 4 update 1.45.62 beschikbaar

Sinds vorige week wisten we al dat er vandaag een nieuwe update zou uitkomen voor De Sims 4 met iets ‘nieuws’. Zoals de livestream van vandaag ook toont is dat nieuwe een update van de Galerij, de plek waar Simmers online hun creaties kunnen delen. Heel speciaal is het overigens niet; het verlegt namelijk enkel de accenten en voegt niet echt iets nieuws toe. Zie ook de patch opmerkingen hieronder voor meer informatie daarover.

Hopefully the weather isn’t too hot in your neck of the woods, because then you’d be…Simmers. *cough*

In addition to several fixes and tweaks to improve your game experience, we’ve overhauled the Gallery! This is something we’ve been working on for a while and is the first step to keep enhancing the Gallery to make it an incredible platform for this community to share its creations.

Read below to find out what we changed with the Gallery as well as various improvements throughout the game.

Gallery Update

Our goal with the Gallery is to shift the focus towards the creators making incredible content and make it easier to download the content.

  • We’ve re-arranged the content images so that you can now Follow the creator, Favorite the content, and download the content on the front page.
  • We’ve moved the Search bar and popular hashtags front and center.
  • Popular Now is the default filter, which means you should see more fresh, different content.
  • We’ve renamed and re-arranged the tabs. You now have Gallery, for content, News to find out who is uploading and sharing content, your Profile (with your name), and your Library, to see your downloaded content.
  • We’ve updated the art and visuals throughout the Gallery.
  • You can now download and place Lots and Rooms from the Gallery even if you begin in Live mode. Hurray! At last!

De Sims 4 console update v1.07 beschikbaar

Met De Sims 4 Honden en Katten in aantocht hebben de PlayStation 4 en Xbox One vandaag een nieuwe update gekregen. De update is een eerste stap in het implementeren van de Galerij op de consoles. Waar de Galerij op de pc nog een plek is waar Simmers hun creaties met elkaar kunnen delen, ontbreekt dit nog op de console. Hoewel dat laatste nog altijd mist, geeft het al wel toegang tot een aantal geselecteerde creaties.

What a summer! As you may have heard, we have been hard at work preparing for the arrival of our fluffy companions in Cats & Dogs. We haven’t stopped there though, we have added Households, Lots and Rooms created by members of The Sims 4 Community into My Library and continued to make a number of performance improvements. Of course, we have been gathering and addressing your feedback and reports too.

Rather than giving you a high-level version of what you can expect how about I just tell you.

De Sims 4 update 1.44.83 beschikbaar

De update van vorige week bracht verschillende nieuwe bugs met zich mee zoals lag in bouwen en het verdwijnen van verschillende cheats. Deze bugs en meer zijn nu opgelost in een kleine update voor De Sims 4 die vannacht is uitgebracht. Mocht je benieuwd ZIJN naar wat voor cheats er inmiddels niet meer zijn, dan heeft SimGuruGrant daar de lijstjes voor. Helaas vallen daar bijvoorbeeld ook de sims.add_buff– sims.remove_all_buffs-cheats onder waarmee je Sims respectievelijk bepaalde gemoedstoestanden kunt geven of alle gemoedstoestanden kunt verwijderen.

De Sims 4 update 1.44.77 beschikbaar

Zojuist heeft De Sims 4 weer een nieuwe update gekregen, ditmaal om het spel voor te bereiden op de komst van De Sims 4 Jaargetijden aankomende vrijdag. Voor alle spelers komt in deze update ook gratis de mogelijk glazen daken te gebruiken en heeft tuinieren een upgrade gekregen. We zagen beiden al een aantal keren voorbijkomen in de screenshots en trailers van De Sims 4 Jaargetijden en werd daarbij onder andere gebruikt om tuinkassen mee te maken.

Overigens is dit weer een grotere update, dus let goed op met mods en andere downloads! Schakel ze pas in als je zeker bent dat ze compatibel bent.

De Sims Mobile update 11.0 beschikbaar

De Sims Mobile heeft vandaag een nieuwe update gekregen. De update brengt onder andere twee nieuwe meubel collecties, zie ook de afbeelding hieronder. Verder zijn er voortaan meer kansen om erfstukpunten te verdienen en waar je die punten voorheen enkel kon inzetten om erfstukken te kopen, kun je ze nu ook gebruiken om karaktereigenschappen van je Sim te wisselen. Zie de patch opmerkingen hieronder voor wat er verder nog allemaal nieuw is.

De Sims 4 update 1.43.14 beschikbaar

Naast de aankondiging van De Sims 4 Jaargetijden vandaag is er ook een nieuwe update uitgebracht voor het basisspel van De Sims 4. Naast wat bugs die worden opgelost is er overigens – uitgezonderd de nieuwe boostweek – niets nieuws zoals je ook hieronder in de patch opmerkingen kunt nalezen.

Hello Simmers!

SimGuruGnome is away on a top secret assignment, so writing these notes has fallen to me. I beg your forgiveness in my subpar writing style, and hope you’ll bear with me.

General Issues

  • Let’s start at the top…of your head! We made a snappy bowler hat that was previously only for female Sims now unisex. So, either gender can look silly.
  • We did a lot of work to improve situations where a lot of Sims enter a crowded space caused Sims to stand on furniture. Sims will no longer stand atop picnic tables like film nerds recreating the famous scene from Dead Poets Society.
  • The Tragic Clown will now always actually dress like the Tragic Clown. What was a tragedy of fashion is now just a tragedy of clownness.
  • We’ve made MySims trophies less rare.
  • We fixed a game freeze that occurred when trying to place stairs next to a room with half-walls.
  • This one’s a little complicated, so stick with me. If your Sim had a baby with a Sim who didn’t live in the house, then you aged up the baby to a toddler while this Sim was visiting, they couldn’t leave. Well, now they can leave! Woohoo! Wait, Woohoo is what got us in trouble in the first place.
  • If you set the table on the Round Selvadoradian Dining table or Dinner’s On! By Crockery Kitchen table, you can now clean the dishes. Don’t think you’re getting out of chores so easily.
  • And other fixes and improvements.

Laundry Day

  • We rinsed, washed, and scrubbed many of the Laundry Moodlets causing your Sims issues, including Sims will only play positive animations for positive Moodlets and they’ll play the animations less frequently.

City Living

  • You can now sing karaoke duets with members of your group! This will make an epic night even more epic, but be sure to read the room and not sing a downer of a song.

Get To Work

  • Pastries are once again available for purchase from the Corporate Fridge Raider Revenue Generating Cooler. We’re not monsters.

Finally, Jasmine is back with another boost! Give her a call on your phone to gain powerful Moodlets to help your Sims build their Culinary, Gardening, Photography, or Painting Skills. She can also help with some of your Sim’s Needs so they can get out doors for longer.

Gisteravond is er een nieuwe update uitgebracht voor De Sims Mobile. De belangrijkste nieuwe toevoegingen ditmaal zijn nieuwe missies rondom trouwen waarmee je een speciale huwelijksnacht-meubelset kunt ontgrendelen, en de toevoegingen van open haarden.
